MARK KANE – PRESIDENT & FOUNDER
Mark Kane is the President of Vegas Micro.
From 1984 to 1992, Mark Kane started and ran a multimillion dollar computer mail order company in Long Beach, California and Lake Arrowhead, California. The company had 35 employees at its peak.
From 1992-1996, Mark Kane managed all aspects of a 75,000 square foot athletic Club in New Orleans, LA with 75 employees. He implemented many procedures to stream line the accounting, check in, and payroll procedures that were antiquated.
In 1996, he created Micro PC, a computer wholesale company in New Orleans. The business was started in the athletic club and when it became too busy, he left the club to run the business in a separate facility. Sales started at zero and by 1999, sales were 4 million per year.
In 1999, Mark moved to Las Vegas because his daughter had pneumonia 3 times in one year and the doctors told him to move somewhere dry. In 1999, Mark opened Vegas Micro on Industrial Road (now known as Dean Martin Drive) and Post Road. The business did almost all wholesale. The business grew to 3 million of sales per year within 3 years. In 2008, he relocated the business to its current location on Mojave Road and also sold Micro Pc in New Orleans to the current Manager of that location. In 2018, we relocated to our current location on Patrick Lane.
In 2005, he started EMS when he saw the need for some good ole fashioned customer service and caring in the computer service industry. He believes in being available for his clients and customers at all times. He prides himself on customer satisfaction and does not give up until he is satisfied the job has been done. In 2006, he started Vegas Telecom, a company that sells, installs and services Nortel Telephone systems and sells VoIP Phone Service.
