The Encore 8-Port Gigabit Switch delivers a significant network load originating from large group of users or from sources, such as video, audio, and graphic content. Designed mainly for small offices and home, this switch provides 8 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Mbps) ports. Each attached device enjoys a dedicated (10/100/1000 Mbps) connection with no bandwidth congestion issue.

For your convenience, ENHGS-800 simplifies the operation procedures in many ways; for example, the Plug-and-play feature doesn't require software installation, the Front-panel Diagnostic LEDs monitor the activity status of the ports and the whole system, and the Auto-Negotiation feature allows each port to run at its optimum speed. Also, last but not the least, with Auto MDI/MDI-X Detection, you don’t need to worry about the cable type, whether it’s crossed or not. ENHGS-800 also reduces latency and achieves reliable data connection using its Store-and-Forward switching method.
